General Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a 407 visa, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Hold adequate health insurance
- Have enough funds to support their stay in Australia
- Be a genuine temporary entrant
- Have Competent English
- Meet health and character standards
Family members and partners can be included in the application. However, dependents have limited work rights — up to 40 hours per fortnight.
Skills Development Stream
