Available Options
🔹 3-Month Sporting Visa
Designed for short-term engagements, this option requires:
- A letter of support from your sport’s national governing body
- Proof of your temporary stay intentions
- Evidence of adequate funds to support yourself
- Clear role-related qualifications or experience
This visa begins upon your arrival in Australia and is ideal for brief coaching assignments or sporting events.
🔹 2-Year Sporting Visa
This longer-term visa is suitable for ongoing coaching roles and includes:
- Sponsorship by a registered Temporary Activity Sponsor (TAS)
- Demonstrated high-level coaching or sports expertise
- Eligibility to apply onshore or offshore, including while holding a 3-month 408 visa
- Required health insurance and police clearances
- Possible English proficiency and medical checks
This visa can also be extended once while in Australia for another two years.
You can include eligible family members and dependents in your visa application or add them later. Dependent partners are generally permitted to work full-time in Australia during your stay.
